Everything starts with understanding. Find answers to common questions before your next class.
What is the Canadian Firearms Safety Course?
The CFSC covers foundational knowledge and safe practices related to non-restricted firearms. For many new PAL applicants it is part of the required training.
What is the difference between CFSC and CRFSC?
The CFSC focuses on foundational non-restricted firearm safety. The CRFSC covers additional considerations related to restricted firearms. Contact our team about the requirements that apply to you.

How do I register for a class?
Visit our Class Schedule page, select an available session and send a registration request. Our team will contact you to confirm your place and any payment instructions.
Do you offer private or group training?
Yes. Contact our team to discuss your group size, preferred timing, and the type of training you are looking for.
Can minors take safety courses?
Eligibility and licensing rights depend on age, the course, and current Canadian Firearms Program rules. Contact Surefire Sports for course enrollment requirements and check the RCMP for current licensing requirements.
Does finishing a course mean I have my PAL?
No. Successful course completion is different from licence issuance. The Canadian Firearms Program handles licensing applications and decisions.
